This collection consists of records created by members of the Curatorial Department including exhibition files, presentations, research, reports and various administrative materials. A portion of this collection is restricted for further processing. For access to these restricted records, please contact ASC staff.

The portion available, the Born Digital Materials series, currently features electronic records from various curatorial department staff relating to the research and creation of exhibitions. Additional records regarding publications, presentations, and more will be made available as processing progresses.

This collection is open for internal staff research. According to the Archives and Special Collections Policy, all institutional records are closed to public researchers for 25 years from the date of creation, unless they meet the following criteria for permanent restriction:
- Records which are restricted due to applicable federal or state privacy laws
- Legal communications
- Legal work product
- Other materials at the discretion of the HEMG Director and/or Head, Archives and Special Collections.

Digital counterparts of restricted material will only be accessible by to those with permission to access.
