Biography
Hillwood Estate, Museum, and Gardens was the Washington, DC home of Marjorie Merriweather Post, its founder. The residence was originally known as Arbremont when it was occupied by the Erwin family. Post purchased Arbremont in 1955 and after extensive renovation, it emerged as Hillwood.
