Biography
E.F. Hutton (1875-1962) was the second husband of Marjorie Merriweather Post. They were married on July 7, 1920. Close was a financier and co-founder of E. F. Hutton and Co., a well known financial firm. Post and Hutton had one daughter together, Dina Merrill.

Content Description
This collections holds 84 black and white photographs of a voyage on the Hussar to the Galapagos Islands including photographs of Marjorie Merriweather Post, Nedenia and E.F. Hutton as well as other passengers and crew. The collection also holds photographs depicting an old navy tradition called the “crossing the line” ceremony, an initiation rite for those who have never crossed the equator.
