Scope and Contents
The collection includes records pertaining to the construction, christening, and use of Marjorie Merriweather Post’s yacht, The Hussar, later known as Sea Cloud. The collection includes invoices, financial statements, customs declarations, personnel records, inventories, photographs, photograph plates and published articles pertaining to the ship. Contents cover the early life of the ship, its military service, and more recent career as a cruise ship.
