Biography

Stanley M. Rumbough, Jr. was married to Mrs. Post's daughter, Dina Merrill. They had 3 children together and remained married for 20 years. Mr. Rumbough is a member of the Colgate family and entered business for himself after World War II. During the war, Mr. Rumbough served as a Marine fighter pilot. Rumbough helped form the Citizen's for Eisenhower movement, later serving as a special assistant in President Eisenhower's administration. Stanley M. Rumbough, Jr.'s personal papers are housed at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library.
