Biography
Edward Bennett Close (1882-1955) was Marjorie Merriweather Post's first husband. They were married on December 3, 1905. Close was a stockbroker and director of the American Hospital Association. Post and Close had two daughters together, Adelaide Close Riggs and Eleanor Close Barzin.
