Biography
The Sea Cloud was built in Germany, for Marjorie Merriweather Post and E. F. Hutton. It first set sail in 1931 and was then known as the Hussar II. It was renamed Sea Cloud in 1945 when Post married Joseph E. Davies. The Sea Cloud was lended to the U.S. Navy for service in World War II from 1942 to 1946.
